DOS is one of the first operating systems and since then (1981) there are newer and more powerful platforms such as Windows 10. But many classic games released for DOS are still interesting and many people want to play these old games.

Because they are not compatible – in many cases – with modern platforms, we can use a software to enable DOS on our systems and we can play these games very easy.

1. Using DOSBox

Dosbox is a free software and you can use it to install DOS games.

Using Drag & drop

Install the software and ensure you have a shortcut on Desktop.

Then unzip your game to find the executable file. Then drag & drop the  .exe file hover the Dosbox ison and release the mouse. Also works with setup.exe files.

The game will start automatically.

To enter in fullscreen mode press Alt + Enter. Press again to return in window mode.
